Vintage weddings never go out of fashion, and quite honestly we can’t get enough of them! Whether you love 1930’s Art Deco and Great Gatsby-style luxury, or prefer a more homespun 1940’s look – a vintage wedding theme always looks great.
Top celebs are now incorporating a vintage style within their weddings mostly opting for classic lace, pearls and vintage accessories such as lace table covers, chair covers with lace sashes, and fine bone china crockery. Vintage table centerpieces range from victorian bird cages and vintage lanterns to classic tall silver candelabras.
The most important thing is choosing venue. In my opinion excellent choice would be the Old Orangery near Warsaw. This gorgeous place looks adorable during the day and magnificent during the night – it will be perfect choice for vintage wedding venue.
When it comes to main color, definitely choose green (because of the grass, leaves and ivy), white and also pink or vanilla yellow. There are lots of flowers that you can choose from, if you want to have truly vintage wedding. Starting with roses and orchids through eucalyptus, ivy, cotton and bruni ending or amaryllis, dahlias and anemones.
But the secret of ideal vintage wedding is … decoration! Small glass balls and white wooden birdcages are must-have. You can also make some DIY accessories. For example pompoms made of tulle – it is effortless and very effective. Stay with a grass on the way to the aisle and put some white lanterns along.
What about stylization for her? Justyna Kodym’s dresses will match perfectly with the style of vintage wedding. They seem to be very light and airy. Handmade laces are very delicate. Additionaly, flower in hair is what all brides need on vintage wedding. Optional gold headband will be perfect too. Make up should be rather gentle than vibrant.
