Wedding Trend 2016: Gold Foil

Brand new & really exciting blog series is coming up: wedding trends 2016. As 2015 is coming to an end we all wonder what will be fashionable next wedding season. We thought we can make the search a little bit easier for you.

We are opening the series in a quite spectacular way  – with a lot of gold. Gold foil. So popular, so chic and glamorous. Glittering, shining and very eye-catching. A color trend made for a self-confident, modern bride. Do you enjoy a New Yers Eve decor? If you do, the gold foil is perfect for you.

Personally, what we like about the fashion the most are the gold foil invitations details. They go wonderfully with urban, geometric design, as well as with sophisticated, luxurious, classic wedding stationery. For me – it’s a perfect finish to every printing, wedding sign or chair decor. Our second choice are gold metallic wedding cakes – at least one gleaming layer. They are also extremely popular nowadays and we can easily get why. They have an amazing power to give even the most traditional cake a glamour, exquisite touch.

How about shiny bridal gown? And we are not just talking about the jewelry.  You would probably be surprised how well the gold looks not only with art decor dresses, but with every type of wedding dress (yes, the princess and vintage too). Try some gold flowers crowns, mantles or ombre, shiny skirt.

Something for our youngest, boho brides? The most beautiful gold foil tattoos. Perfect for a bridal shower or bachelorette party. There are hundreds of ways to shower your wedding in gold. So be bold and give your wedding day extra shine, because our first wedding trend 2016 is a gold foil.
